Clarks is seeking a Key Account Sales Executive!  The primary responsibilities for the Key Account Sales Executive for Clarks will be to maximize and manage “Key Account” businesses. Responsible for planning assortments, financials, forecasting & marketing for designated account base. This is a temporary role in our Oakville, Canada office - lating 12 months.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Manages customer base within the territory through effective rapport building with existing and established key customers.
  • Performs individual and group sales presentations with potential new accounts to increase sales
  • Oversees the use of advertising and promotional programs with each account, keeping consistent with Clarks sales and Marketing initiatives
  • Coordinates prompt, efficient handling of customer inquiries and issues, and oversees full sales process to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Analyses sales and market data, prepares seasonal forecasts, results summaries and sets targets to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Liaison between retailer and the company for all sales related functions.
  • Liaison with credit, assisting in resolving any credit issues.
  • Monitor compliance to ensure charges are legitimate.
  • Work with Product group to identify specific requirements for key accounts to ensure they have the right product and the right styles for their accounts
  • Responsible for meeting key account margin requirements.
  • Communicate retail information to Marketing and Product Development.
  • Participate in Clarks Americas forecasting.

Successful Experience: 

  • Must have a minimum of 4 years retail buying office and/or a minimum of 4 years sales background
  • Retail and/or wholesale experience
  • Sales and sales analysis 
  • BS degree in business preferred
  • Sales and shoe industry knowledge
  • Ability to produce accounts 
  • Exceptional customer service and presentation skills
