The Clarks Credit & Collections Analyst would be responsible for the collection of Clarks America’s third party wholesale debts. You will also be responsible to minimize credit risks and bad debt while allowing Clarks to achieve maximum sales and profitability. Key activities; Timely cash collection of past due accounts, assessing credit worthiness of customers (new & existing), minimizing bad debts, ensuring contract compliance and/or recommending legal action chasing of debts, credit assessment within credit policy and credit insurance regulations, release of credit blocked orders, reconciliation of payments. To ensure compliance with Credit Insurance policy, company Group Credit Policy, controls, regulations and service level agreements.

Essential Knowledge:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or Finance
  • 3+ years previous credit control experience in a large company
  • Prior experience with SAP
  • General understanding of accounting principles
  • Solid organizational, communication and follow through skills
  • Accountability and attention to detail
  • Adaptability
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Prioritization, multi-tasking and adherance to deadlines
  • Working independently and cross-functionally with all levels of management

Technical Skills:

  • Computer literacy including advanced MS suite
