In this temporary position you will work closely with the Buying Offices, Retail Stores, Clarks Key Account Representatives, Marketing Representatives and Customer Service Representatives to maximize business in your territory. This position requires excellent communication skills. It also requires someone who is a self-starter, independent, motivated, disciplined, organized and flexible. This position requires some travel between our Oakville offices and Brampton. Computer experience is a must, particularly in Excel and Word. Must also have the ability to read and analyze a variety of sales and financial reports.

The major area of responsibility will be supporting the Clarks businesses within certain buying offices to maximize business at the store level. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Track and analyze sales to stock reports and style selling reports.
  • Identify key and weak selling styles and stores.
  • Analyze, adjust and set model stock levels based on selling trends.
  • Work with key account representatives to ensure financial plans and sell thrus are met.
  • Enter new orders.

Qualifications:

  • Understand merchandising especially in a department store environment
  • Ability to work with customers in their offices a few days a week in Brampton (need access to transportation) and a few days a week in Oakville office
  • Experience with sales reporting information and software (Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze retail sales, plan inventory numbers and make recommendations to sales team.
