We are hiring a Wholesale Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing and activating seasonal strategies and tactics that support commercial and brand growth to our wholesale trade channel.  You will align key internal stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Field Marketing, Brand Marketing and Product and deliver seasonal planning for key account classifications, as well as partner with key retailers to plan and implement COOP marketing activations both digital and brick and mortar. You will deliver consistent analysis of the wholesale and trade marketing activities and budgets that ladder up to seasonal/annual corporate business objectives.
 
 
What You Will Do:
  • Contribute to development, execute and report on key account wholesale marketing plans, consistent with global brand and seasonal strategies.
  • Create customized marketing plans for Key Account accounts and select Regional Chain accounts. Planning to focus on brand building, business driving strategies that position Clarks as the pinnacle dress/casual footwear brand.
  • Develop and execute local/trade marketing plans based on regional product communication strategies, sell-in/sell-thru strategies, seasonal events, and account specific business needs. 
  • Measure marketing effectiveness against established objectives and global KPI’s. Make adjustments/apply learning as necessary.
  • Manage execution/creation/adaptation of seasonal digital/affiliate content creation.
  • Collaborate with sales teams, merchandising and planning teams to create understanding of regional consumer targets, distribution channels, and business challenges.
  • Actively participate in selling-in and/or advocating for global marketing initiatives across the region.
  • Communicate global brand lead initiatives such as: customer/distribution segmentation, brand foundations/positioning, brand guidelines, etc. into markets, across sales, internally and account management.
  • Establish and maintain Coop marketing plans, develop budgets and KPI’s.  Sole focus on the Key Account customers to deliver 70% of the regional sales volume.
  • Develop brand appropriate, account specific marketing plans, based on business objectives
  • Contribute to developing BIC retail solutions to all wholesale customers (good, better, best). 
  • Report on and maintain regional marketing KPI’s, based on established global metrics.
  • Travel up to 25%, some night and weekend work/travel is required

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred, Knowledge of footwear, fashion, accessories markets
  • Knowledge of wholesale, retail and digital channels
  • Knowledge of processes in developing/executing a wide range of marketing materials
  • Knowledge of successful marketing strategy development
  • Understanding and use of brand metrics – awareness, conversion, brand perception, etc.
  • Understanding of and utilization of consumer segmentation and how it contributes to brand strategy.
  • Understanding of branding principles such as: positioning, personality, brand truths, tone of voice, and how they contribute to building a branding campaign, etc.
  • 5-7 years of successful marketing experience working within a global consumer brand
  • Develop marketing plans based on brand foundations, communication messages, business drivers/objectives
  • Possess expert level of experience understanding and managing wholesale channel marketing
  • Experience working across various marketing mediums (in-store, digital, print, media, etc.)
  • Experience presenting marketing plans to senior management.
