This role will be the driving force behind ALL Clarks Originals activations globally. They will live and breathe street culture and fashion and help push boundaries to keep Clarks Originals at the very forefront of culture. 

Working with the Global Brand team and all regional teams they are the linchpin that holds it all together from event activations like ComplexCon or Art Basel to collaborations with brand partners such as KITH, from inline product launches on iconic shoes like Wallabee to campaigns like the ‘Clarks and Jamaica’ story.

In addition, the role will serve as the Originals marketing expert in the US and therefore is responsible for the management of all commercial (WS & DTC) marketing activations within the North America Market in relation to Clarks Originals distribution in conjunction with Americas marketing team. Working with accounts from Bodega to Footlocker to make sure we show up in the right way across all our network.

 They will have a highly creative and progressive approach to projects. This role needs to have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can manage relationships with multiple external and internal partners

 

What You’ll do:

  • Lead the regional teams in planning all seasonal launches across all channels to ensure Clarks Originals is considered THE best in class in every moment and every touch point
  • Own the plan and conversation with each of our incredible brand collaboration partners to make the maximum noise and disruption with every drop
  • Be the voice of the successes of Clarks Originals within the business – compiling results across PR, Social and commercial channels and areas and communicating key learnings to stakeholders
  • Work with the US Sales teams to partner with strategic key accounts in key activations across the season to achieve successful sell through
  • Owner of the master brand calendar – working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the brand is detonating the incredible roaster of inline, collab and brand moments to their best effect
  • Contribute to the development of the Wholesale Marketing Strategy and GTM plan in line with the global content recommendations and toolkit – with a special focus on US market
  • Help manage the US activations budget to maximize brand awareness and drive sell-through on key product stories

Who You Are:

  • Have worked 5+ years’ experience in the footwear, apparel or consumer goods industry
  • Communication is key: The ability to talk to key customers, and stakeholders within the business
  • Experience with project management skills. Know what it takes to work on multiple projects at once across many different timelines and at different scales. Extremely organized to keep many projects moving forward at one time.
  • Able to think both on behalf of the brand, and on behalf of the commercial side of the business with any project that is taken on.
  • Agile in thinking: This job requires information to be shared very quickly, so you must be prepared to answer any questions or prepare any presentation quickly and accurately.
  • Detail Oriented: You must have a detailed skillset as you will be working closely on delivery dates, product codes, retail prices, and you must communicate accurate information always.
  • Independence: you need to be able to move projects along independently and build the relationships in order to be self-sufficient in planning a season
