The Channel Marketing Specialist supports the marketing team within our Retail and Wholesale commercial channels for a 6 month maternity leave cover. Reporting to the Director of Wholesale and Retail Marketing, s/he contributes to the planning, implementation and analysis of key marketing programs designed to drive account growth for the wholesale business. As well as implement marketing strategies and programs to support and grow our US Retail business (company owned full price and off price doors). Project manage, execute, and evaluate the effectiveness of all marketing programs and report out to key channel leaders. This role is highly matrixed and requires the ability to work effectively across the marketing, creative, merchandising and wholesale/retail operations departments. 



1. Assists in developing and executing marketing plans for designated wholesale accounts for the upcoming season, including monitoring of budget versus expenses, creating campaigns and advertising that are on message and consistent with the overarching brand strategy. Evaluates overall effectiveness of programs and identifies optimizations for future implementation.

2. Deliver direct retail marketing campaign programming, creative brief and communications on time and with excellence.

3. Assists in creative development and execution of all creative briefs associated with owned accounts and projects, working closely with the creative team in implementation.

4. Collaborate with ecommerce/digital marketing to deliver cohesive and coordinated consumer communication and promotional strategies and tactics.

5. Coordinate with retail marketing, operations and merchandising teams to deliver effective field communication and direction while seeking continuous improvement opportunities.


Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred

• Clearly defined marketing background

• Working knowledge of marketing creative process

• Comfort level with working independently and cooperatively lead a diverse group with a bias towards action

• Experience delivering effective and innovative marketing strategies across various medias

• Strong and effective creative project management and ability to lead and direct outside resources

• Ability to manage multiple projects on various levels with different and converging timelines

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (proven ability to manage up and across a matrixed org)

• Proven budget development and management experience a plus

• Global organization experience a plus

• 2-4 years progressive marketing experience is required

• Clearly demonstrated ability to organize and deliver time sensitive projects

• Highly proficient computer skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel/PowerPoint).

• Ability to think through options and make recommendations

• Self-motivated

• Detail-oriented
