The Social Media Innovation Coordinator, will develop and execute innovative social, gaming, and livestreaming programs for Clarks globally. Additionally, this role will support the head of social for the established social channels (IG, FB, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, etc).  This role is highly collaborative across the organization, working closely with all marketing functions including PR, e-commerce, category marketing, internal and external agency and creative partners. This is a global role however it has a primary focus on the Americas and UK/EMEA regions.

1. Lead the development, execution and day-to-day management, monitoring, and measurement of all global innovative social media, gaming, and livestreaming programs

2. Drive cultural currency with core consumer targets through development of new and innovative social, gaming, and livestreaming (and other new channels)

3. Support Head of Social on all global established social channel management as needed

4. Partner with global heads of marketing and regional/country level marketing leads on social innovation plans for Clarks and Clarks Originals that align with key initiatives and stories

5. Increase efforts to stay ahead of changing social and consumer digital landscape and consumer trends – dynamic messaging, mobile platforms, etc – always being mindful of what makes sense for the brand

6. Ensure Clarks brand integrity, tone, and voice are represented across all digital content and social media channels

7. Works with internal and external partners in order to evaluate the effectiveness of all programs

8. Managing the day-to-day social media, gaming, innovative new media opportunities


Skills and Experience:

• 1-3 years experience in innovative social media, gaming, and/or livestreaming

• Established and innovative new social channel knowledge

• Working knowledge of social gaming and livestreaming platforms

• Exceptional written communication skills

• In-depth understanding of English grammar and best practices of writing and editing for the web

• Knowledge of social media analytics

• Ability to make quick judgements on publishable/unpublishable content, particularly from user-generated reviews and social media feedback

• Social platform management software experience

• Livestreaming and social gaming platforms

• MS Office and all major web browsers

• Design software experience a plus
