This position is responsible for driving best-in-class collaborative relationships with internal & external stakeholders by building tools & capabilities in wholesale & retail planning, long-range customer planning, and customer strategy development.

This position strategically leads and directs the usage of wholesales & retail data and category insights to enhance Clarks’ ability to demonstrate industry leadership with retail partners, in turn driving category and share growth for them. Reporting to the SVP of Sales, this position has regular exposure and visibility to senior leadership, and must have executive presence and experience influencing all levels of a customer organization. 

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholder to establish fiscal budget, fiscal at once, seasonal sales plan, and seasonal at once.
  • With sales executive management team, co-lead 3 year business plans for top tier customers.
  • Ensure Clarks becomes the best vendor in the industry by developing new tools, capabilities and employee skills..
  • Presents at Sales meetings, Line Reviews, and other critical check-points in the seasonsal go-to-market journey.
  • Creation of the customer matrix and running weekly wholesale reports.
  • Successful tracking and analysis ensures that account sales plan and financial components of GM% and turns are met, as well as budgeted revenue and profit are hit and RTVs are limited.

Who you are:

  • Passionate about footwear and numbers. Enjoys working a team setting with other colloborative players
  • Have a BS degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Have at least 4 years Retail Merchandise Planning or Retail buying experience or 8 yrs experience in wholesale sales handling department store accounts
  • A proven ability to develop and implement new capabilities with an organization
  • Experience leading strategy planning process
  • Ability to read, understand, analyze, and take action on all business reports: both Retail and Wholesale
  • Love to work in a fast paced environment and serve multiple customers. 
  • Have strong analytical, planning, retail math and communication skills.
  • Enjoy working independently and handling multiple tasks
  • Must be comfortable presenting to groups, senior management, and executives
  • Can communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Effectively plans and organizes work by setting priorities, delegating effectively, and following up to meet business needs.
