Job Advert Description
We are looking for a Contract Sales Analyst who will produce and analyze wholesale & retail data and business insight to enchance Clarks’s ability to demonstrate industry leadership with customers to highlight opportunities to maximize sales/growth. This role will last approx. 12 months beginning in August.


  • Administer in-season tracking, recapping, analyzing, reporting and communication of weekly sell-through performance with Canadian customers, assortment & style performance, channel of trade trends, and/or emerging market trends. 
  • Deliver insights to Clarks in a simple, easy interface that all employees across the company can interpret, remember, and use easily.  Escalate insights as well as noticaeable themes for opportunity to the Director of Sales & Customer Planning.
  • Based on analysis and trending, identify re-order quantities.  Communicates chase opportunities to buying teams and retailers.
  • Provides reporting and analysis on the forecast to include customer level TY vs. LY comparisons, weekly change analysis and customer penetration analysis.
  • Monitoring bookings deadlines and communication with the Tm’s if forecasts need to shift out. 
  • Maintaining safety stock for NOOS and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Particpate in putting together key info for pre-line activities.
  • Assist with analysis & post-mortem for Men’s and Women’s in preparing for all customer meetings.
  • Prepare analysis for  weekly Wholesale meetings bringing current insights to drive actionable insights inside the organization.
  • Participates in inventory planning meetings; contributes trade flow analyses, sell-through insights, and market analytics.


  • 2-4 years of sales and inventory analysis
  • Reporting skills from design to execution
  • Strong understand of retail landscape and KPI
  • Statistical Modelling (Regression, Correlation, Random number generation, Excel Solver)
  • Expertise in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup, Power BI, Power Pivot, VBE, Macros)
  • Familiar with Amazon Vendor Central & SPS Commerce
  • Strong communication skills- written and oral
  • Critical thinking skills to pursue new methods or solutions, and to think outside of the box
  • Time management/ task prioritization
  • Nice to have understanding of relational database and SQL
