The Senior Manager of Consumer Communications will lead and manage all paid and earned media for the Clarks brand and sub-brands. This role will develop and execute brand advertising campaigns, drive social media activites and public relations efforts. The postion is digitally focused and highly collaborative across the organization; working closely with all marketing functions including e-commerce, category & commercial marketing, global marketing and PR, internal and external agency and creative partners. This is a regional role that also supports our partners in Canada and Latin America. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee US Media, Social and PR strategies - Ensure efficient and strategic use of paid investment, prioritization of key messages and brand moments, and continued test and learn processes
  • Development of seasonal brand media, PR and social plans for Clarks and Clarks sub brands including Clarks, Clarks Originals, Bostonian
  • Creation of thoughtful, multichannel  seasonal Consumer Communication programs that leverage relevant communication outlets and messages by consumer target
  • Help drive alignment across consumer communication channels, specifically media, social and PR working closely with US category, commercial and e-commerce performance marketing teams, in collaboration with Clarks Global Marketing
  • Day-to-day management of internal partners and external agencies to ensure timely delivery of work, specifically media, social and PR plans, recommendations, establishing clear and measurable KPI’s, evaluating the effectivness of media, social and PR activities and reporting results accordingly to senior leadership
  • Develop external PR and Social communications as needed, including but not limited to press releases, media alerts, reactive and proactive statements, and other communications as needed
  • Develop and implement regional digital influencer and seasonal seeding programs for key styles and launches
  • Drive brand equity through pinnacle storytelling with brand media partners, digital channels and social platforms
  • Manage and develop one direct report, Social Media Coordinator, providing the necessary direction, coaching and mentoring, arming employee with the tools for success in their day-to-day activities and long-term career goals
  • Accountable for managing the Clarks Media, PR and Social budgets
