The Associate Manager, Affiliate Marketing owns the affiliate and remarketing display campaigns running for clarksusa.com, including tactical execution and strategic development. These accountabilities include: managing multiple display vendor relationships, managing an extensive portfolio of affiliate relationships with 1:1 contact on a frequent basis, and reporting and analyzing performance.

The role is designed to monitor and optimize the two performance channels to specific goals by finding new opportunities and leveraging partner capabilities. As a member of the eCommerce team at Clarks, the Associate Manager, Affiliate Marketing collaborates with search marketing, CRM, merchandising, email marketing, web planning, and social teams to drive success for the website from a revenue and efficiency perspective.

Essential Knowledge:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

Successful Experience:

  • 4+ years of affiliate or display channel marketing experience
  • Proven track record of building relationships
  • Experience administering cost per acquisition programs such as affiliate marketing
  • Experience managing to a return on ad spend goal is essential
  • Experience in creating and working to key performance indicators for online channels is desirable 
  • Experience with creative briefing and understanding of asset creation processes

Technical Skills:

  • Experience using web analytics packages such as Google Analytics or Coremetrics
  • Knowledge of online monetization methods and common KPIs
  • Skilled in advanced Excel functionalities
  • Good understanding of online tracking solutions and implementation
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships with vendors and partners
  • Must be able to quickly develop facility with software to manage campaigns and report results
  • Experience interpreting data to tell a story
  • Understand invoicing processes and have good sense of urgency around purchase order management
