Here’s where you come in:

  • Serve as the Manager on Duty for the Distribution Center in all aspects while working and opening and closing the warehouse in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a work environment which is productive, professional and safe.
  • Ensure associates follow standard operating procedures and adhere to company policies, productivity standards, regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Monitor daily associate activities, assist with ensuring proper levels of staffing, check actual against scheduled distribution and production requirements and alter schedules to meet customer requirements (with District Manager approval)
  • Assist in the daily tasks including, but not limited to, manpower tasking, service flexibility, maintaining the facilities equipment and materials in a neat clean orderly fashion, loading, unloading, moving, stocking, and staging products and materials in a timely manner, using handling equipment as required.
  • Monitor the flow of work to ensure maximum use of available capacity and effective use of labor, tools, and equipment to ensure timely shipping, providing leadership and motivation to associates to achieve production related goals.
  • Coordinate all training activities and requirements within the guidelines and best practices.
  • Drive and assist in accurately reporting key operational measurements per management and facility parameters; safety, inventory, cost, productivity, efficiency, fulfillment, on-time delivery & quality
  • Exemplify the Clarks brand.
  • Follows all policies and procedures related to loss and shrinkage.

Skills and Knowledge required:

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays and some overnights. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb an eight foot ladder, stand for long periods of time, bend as needed and repetitively climb stairs. Proficiency with PC based software, e-mail and word processing software. High School Diploma or equivalent
