Clarks is looking for a Learning and Development Manager who will collaborate with our global learning team to develop, regionalize and facilitate workshops that align with our culture and business objectives. This person will work closely with our HR Directors to assess the needs and partner with the eLearning Training Specialist to create the best blended learning solutions.

This role will report to the Senior Director, Talent Management and collaborate with them on various talent management initiatives including performance conversations, engagement, culture and development activities.


  • Partner with HR Directors and business leaders to assess current learning and development needs through regular meetings, surveys, focus groups and other means 
  • Manage all professional development workshops and programs. Manage all activities from planning content through delivery of materials and objectives
  • Collaborate with eLearning Training Specialist to create the best blended learning solutions.
  • Work with HR Business Partners to create development plans for high potential talent
  • Ensure all learning and development initiatives support strategic objectives and organizational priorities
  • Develop criteria for learning metrics that align with HR and business strategies
  • Manage ongoing schedule of workshops and work with LMS coordinator to promote through Clarks University (Skillport LMS)


  • 3-6 years experience in Learning and Development roles
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent Facilitation and coaching skills
  • Certification in assessment tools:Myers-Briggs, Insights Discovery, DISC etc. preferred
  • Knowledge of talent processes; performance management, succession planning, competency building
  • Prior experience in a leadership role directly managing others strongly preferred
  • Design and development of learning programs to address strategic organizational needs
  • High level problem solving and influencing skills
  • Strong computer skills including; PowerPoint, Word and e-Learning platforms
