The Clarks Senior Accountant is responsible for the accounting of highly complex and specialist areas of the business (budgeting, planning & reporting); and works directly with senior stakeholders supporting the build of their Plans. In this role you will take a lead in building Enabling & Group overhead departmental budgets and forecasts. The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring all plans are built using assumptions issued by the Group Reporting Analyst and from collaborating with senior business leaders to deliver accurate and consistent departmental overhead reporting, produced for regional business teams. This role will also be responsible for accounting for complex areas ensuring they are completed in line with specialist knowledge. We are looking for someone who is able to advise management on changes to US GAAP impacting their areas of specialism; while ensuring any accounting in foreign currency is completed in line with group policies, and correct rates are used for each currency transaction. SAP accounting experience is preferred for this role.
